TEARFID® is a sterile, preservative-free solution for use on the eye that has been specially developed to relieve subjective discomfort such as foreign body sensation, burning, itching of the eye and excessive tear evaporation. It also helps to treat eye redness caused by environmental factors such as wind or an unfavorable microclimate.

TEARFID® stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film and helps to alleviate symptoms of allergic and infectious inflammation. It also promotes the re-epithelialization of the corneoconjunctival epithelium, which contributes to the regeneration of the ocular surface. TEARFID® is offered in an innovative OSD (Ophthalmic Squeeze Dispenser) dropper that ensures the sterility of the product without preservatives thanks to its multi-layer air filter and tip-seal valve system.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

For subjective disorders associated with dry eye syndrome, such as foreign body sensation, burning and itching of the eye caused by poor quality of the lipid layer of the tear film and ocular and periocular redness associated with frequently changing environmental conditions (wind, microclimate, etc.).

APPLICATION

As required, 1-2 drops of TEARFID® are instilled directly into the surface of the eye 4 times a day. TEARFID® eye drops can also be administered into the conjunctival sac as required or as prescribed by a doctor.

STORAGE & NOTES

TEARFID® should not be stored below + 4°C or above + 25°C.

After first opening, the preparation can be used until the expiry date stated on the packaging.

The expiry date is labelled on the packaging. Do not use the product after the expiry date.
