TEARFID® SPRAY is a sterile, preservative-free solution specifically formulated to provide relief for tear flow disorders due to defects in the tear film lipid layer (such as blepharitis) as well as eye redness caused by environmental causes.

The spray can be applied directly to closed eyes and provides immediate relief by supporting the natural barrier function of the tear film and soothing the surface of the eye.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

For subjective disorders associated with dry eye syndrome, such as foreign body sensation, burning and itching of the eye, dry eye syndrome caused by poor quality of the lipid layer of the tear film, inflammation of the eyelid (blepharitis) and ocular and periocular redness associated with frequently changing environmental conditions (wind, microclimate, etc.).

APPLICATION

Depending on requirements, 1-2 sprays of TEARFID® SPRAY are sprayed 3-4 times a day onto the closed eye at a distance of 10 cm in a vertical position and the eyelids are then preferably kept closed. TEARFID® SPRAY can be applied more frequently if the symptoms are more severe.

TEARFID® SPRAY can also be used when wearing cosmetics. In this case, it should be sprayed from a greater distance (approx. 20 cm).

STORAGE & NOTES

TEARFID® SPRAY should not be stored below 4°C or above 25°C.

After first opening, the preparation can be used until the expiry date stated on the packaging.

The expiry date is labelled on the packaging. Do not use the product after the expiry date.
